Salt Lake City, Oct. 22. LNS. -- Needing only a tie to qualify for the Daynes Challenge Cup game, Team Xcel was forced to start the game short-handed, as Park City went on the attack early, looking for all three points.
Liam Hanafer, the Snowmen's prolific British striker, scored twice in the first half.
Park City was able to hold on and win the game thanks to Liam's brace, good goalkeeping and a few friendly bounces off the woodwork.
Although Park City and Xcel finish the Fall Season with matching 22 points, Park City advances to the Daynes Challenge Cup next Saturday against OM thanks to a better head to head record.
